Bubbles in Order is an experimental stone work that expands upon the established Bubblelloon* series. Bubblelloon explores an ideal state of imaginative perfection, it reflects the sculptor’s mischievous desire to propose an unprecedented vision of beauty — a “formless” form that resists fixed definition.
In this piece, I explore the beauty of natural phenomena through abstraction. Drawing inspiration from mountains, flowers, seeds, and plant forms, the work distills their essence into an organic structure governed by order and conceived specifically in stone** as its fundamental material. Its form emerges from the material’s inherent weight, density, and resistance, allowing the language of stone carving to determine its final presence. By transforming these familiar natural elements into ambiguous and evolving forms, the sculpture invites viewers to reconsider the boundaries between order and spontaneity, solidity and softness, reality and imagination.
