
The Wind and Wings commemorates Nanyang Technological University's honour of being the world's first Youth Olympic Village.
The 6.65m art piece by award-winning sculptor Yeo Chee Kiong, signifies the coming together of young athletes from around the world at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games. His signature "bulbous" form, uses the metamorphosis of a butterfly to suggest the athletes' transformative experience at the Youth Olympic Village.
